We, the members of the Black Readers Con Organization, would like to issue our deepest apology to all of the panelists, viewers, and sponsors of the Purple Reign panel during VIP Night. During the panel, some viewpoints by a panelist were expressed which were offensive to us, our valued partners, esteemed panelists, and viewers. The viewpoints expressed are in no way indicative of the views, values, or opinions of the Black Readers Con Organization. We strive to promote a community of diversity and inclusion while fostering a safe space for all to share in the various literary advancements.

BRC would like to assure the community that the conduct displayed on the panel is not a representation of our operations. Moving forward we will be improving our vetting process extensively, of all panelists to ensure equal respect amongst all associated with our BRC family and beyond.
